Every time he saw kids playing, his heart stung with pain. “Maa, when I will be able to run around and play like them?” He asked. And like every time, his mother ruffled his hair and said with a small smile “one-day baba, one day you will be like them.”

Unable to understand the sadness behind her smile, he wandered in his dream land where he could walk, run and play like others. Nothing could stop him there. It was his own place to design however he wanted. A place where no one can call him a cripple and made fun of him. He was pleased as punch in his dream land!

Time passed and his dream land turned into his vast imagination.

He may not be able to walk, but his writing made others travel to the world of his imagination, where he was the one who showed them what to believe and feel.

A missed dose of polio vaccine may take his ability to walk properly but it can never take imagination and creativity out of his soul.
